Best pratices to manage diffirent events in every level

I am building a campaign for my 2d shooter game where there will be different type of events like enemies spawn when a target is killed or move the camera to a position as cutscene,... Currently i use a specific script for each level to manage and trigger them. As i am quite new to Unity and game development, i would like to ask the veterans what is the best pratices for handling events in my case or just any case in general. Detailed answers, explanations or tutorials are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
